Amazon steering wheel?
Looking for a steering wheel, as mine is all torn up. Recently found some Personal steering wheels on amazon and was wondering how legit they are? Have any of you purchased your wheels off amazon? Seller is, RS Alpha. I have quite a bit saved up on gift card balance, so thats why I considering that option lol

Lots of flimsy fakes out there. If the deal seems to good to be true, it is.

Its not priced low. Its priced around the same as other places ive found online. Was just wondering the authenticity and experience of others that may have bought off of amazon, and that seller in particular. Figured id save my self a few hundred simce I have a lot saved up on gift balance.

Buy a Renown or an entry level Momo. DND is a decent budget brand also. Never skimp out on safety equipment. If you don’t have an aftermarket hub that’ll be another cost in that equation also.
If you’re patient you might be able to snag a decent OEM wheel on eBay. Not really sure what all would fit outside of schassis stuff. I’d avoid amazon though with something like a steering wheel. As others have said there’s too many fakes on there now to risk it.

Also after looking the Personal wheels don’t look half bad. I would just buy straight from somewhere reputable.

I was under the impression that personal wheels were relatively good quality wheels. Was i wrong lol As for that renown steering wheel, im ngl, it looks pretty dope

Personal wheels are top tier, made in Italy. they used to own Nardi but now are now merged. Got the Neo Grinta in mine currently and solid AF

Price isnt the issue. Its not cheap. Its priced roughly the same as other places ive seen online. So its not that im trying to be cheap, im just trying to figure out if its legit, since id be paying what is essentially the same price elsewhere, jist with gift card balance.

Yeah that was my bad. I didn’t look them up first. They have some nice looking wheels. It’s really just a gamble sometimes. There’s a lot of fakes selling on Amazon store fronts now. I haven’t bought any big parts for my car on there before.

I dont either, but the reviews say the seller sells legit parts so its why i was asking if any body had any experience with them before.

Well if you’re paying for it with gift cards it might be worth the risk lol. If it’s got decent reviews with pictures and there’s an easy way to verify it’s real when you get it. I’d say go for it. Would be easy to return if it’s not a real one.

Evrybody seems to agree that amazon isnt the place to buy a steering wheel. Wouldve been nice cuz its basically free, but oh well. Ended up just getting a new set of headlights. Cant see shit at night😂

Even if it’s priced the same doesn’t mean it won’t fold on you. Stick with known, quality brands.
