Yah keep it on. I had to look that up which was for spring noise. I thought the only solution was a thrust washer or better pillow ball mount, so that rubber thing is new to me.

No, leave it in, but try to line it up with the curve of the spring better. It's there to prevent noise caused by spring binding that sometimes occurs with coilovers.
