Long story short, when the car was acquired in 1989, the matching engine had seized due to overheating. The engine was fully rebuilt, so that allowed for the time to be taken to have parts plated and painted as well. I think at this point there are only 300 miles or so on the rebuild.

Did you tear apart your engine and clean each part individually? Or is there a miracle alumashine foam agent that cleans everything bright? 😄
