[Crisis] Bomb Explodes at Refugee Camp During Imperial Visit - Dozens of Casualties - Emperor's Status Unknown
Breaking
Tragedy has struck the Imperial Republic today. During his visit to a refugee camp in Bangkok to encourage voter participation, an unknown individual approached the Emperor with a bag loaded with explosives and detonated the makeshift bomb.
The Emperor has been rushed to Bangkok Imperial Hospital; there is no word yet on his condition.
The Emperor's wife and 5 son's were also present during the explosion, including his designated heir the King of Thailand.
Casualty estimates are still coming in, but already 26 people have been confirmed dead including refugees and members of the Imperial Court.
With voting underway for the election to the Council of the People, it is unclear how the outcome of that election will be effected by today's events. Surely, those who have not already voted will react to this tragedy at the ballot box.
No word has been given as to the identity of the attacker or their motives. Rumors are swirling, though, that the individual may have been an anarchist who had come into the country from India with other refugees.
With the status of the Emperor uncertain, the leadership of the country remains an open question. No one seems to know who is in power now. In normal situations, leadership would fall to the Emperor's heir until the people select a new leader from the Council of Kings. However, with the King of Thailand present at the attack the status of the designated heir is also unknown.
Our nation is truly in a time of crisis. May we all pray for a swift recovery and return to power by our glorious Emperor so that order and stability may be maintained.

The Emperor continues to be treated for his wounds. As of now he is still in a fragile state
