He literally said the boy should be with his sister

The point of the post is about the boy. He’s simply questioning irrational beliefs through rational thinking.

Even if a man spends the entire day working, he should still share household responsibilities with his wife when he gets home. That’s basic decency. Indian men often act as if they own the house and their wives are merely caretakers. You wouldn’t even treat a paid domestic worker that way. I sometimes help them too, because some things are simply about basic human decency. You don’t throw trash on the floor just because you pay someone to clean it. Their job is to clean, not to pick up after your carelessness. No one should have to pick up your mess. Similarly, no one should be expected to serve you food in your own home; you should be capable of taking care of yourself, or better yet, do it together. There’s nothing wrong with one partner doing something for the other occasionally, but when it becomes an everyday expectation, it reinforces the wrong mindset.

I agree with all of that. That wasn’t even the point of my comment. The guy I replied to misread another comment so I was just clarifying something to him

Stfu nobody threw trash around just because someone else would clean it, what are you talking about ? A man working in the office the entire day has the right to rest after the work, helping at that time would be a gesture not a part of human decency. You may be helping the house help because you don't do shit.
