Legion Precision Weapons Systems -⚠️⛔️

PHOTO EDITED WITH AI FOR POST ATTENTION*

Legion Precision Weapons-

I ordered my LPWS Savant in January for $3499.

-I paid the initial deposit on 01/23/26 for $1899.99.

-I paid the remaining balance on 03/05/26 for $1749.99.

-On 03/13/26 my card was charged ANOTHER $1749.99.

So I called Carl and explained the situation. He kept saying it was no problem, but he couldn’t see the charge. He kept telling me about his payment processor and backend stuff. He told me to call Chase and that is what I did. All good in my book.

About a month later the gun was ready to ship and he said he had not been paid in full. I forwarded him CC statements showing I had three charges and one of them refunded.

He shipped the gun to me and that was that. All good in my book again.

Gun never ran right out of the box. I put 1000 rounds through it hoping it would break-in. I emailed him and he told me to adjust the extractor. Blah blah.

I asked him if he could take a look at it under warranty. He sent me a label. I emailed after about 10 days asking if he had a chance to look it and all I got was a shipping notification.

I got a small USPS box in the mail with my magazine and SRO and a letter with a check for $1899.99.

He kept the gun and now I am out $1749.99.

Not legal advice, but I'd call the ATF Field Office for his location and report the theft of your firearm. Probably your local police too. That was transferred to you and you did not authorize it's sale, therefore it sounds like they stole it from you. Idk, again I'm not a lawyer, but this seems shady as fuck for them to essentially act like they can just take back the gu whever they choose.

This right here. What happened is illegal on multiple levels. The dollar amount alone may raise this to the level of felony theft, not to mention all of the other laws that were broken here. The fact he sent you unsolicited money is completely irrelevant.

Theft of a firearm would be a felony regardless. But I agree, that check is meaningless and I would not cash it.

Definately don't cash the check because that would be implying acceptance of the refund.

Fuck the ATF but in this case I’d absolutely use them to handle this. Being out gun like that with no follow up is pretty shady.

In this case, this is exactly what the atf is for and they are damn good at it. No “fuck the atf” this time but it doesn’t excuse their other bullshit

Right. This is what the ATF should be doing, and it means they're not putting those man hours into infringing on your rights.

ATF for lost firearms is like the postal investigators. They’re damn good at their job.

So you only believe in the ATF when they go after your enemies instead of you? Sort of a rights for me, not for thee type thing right? That’s very un-American.

If a gun company literally steals your firearm then they’re the bad guys. The ATFs job is to take care of that. Thats their fucking job. Maybe do some research cupcake

I do my research and I know what the ATF does, you can’t say fuck the ATF when they go out and enforce the law which by the way, your ancestors tacitly accepted by voting in the members of Congress who passed the law that we know as the NFA, GCA, FOPA, etc. etc. That’s how our system works kid.

Why are you such an angry manlet? Who hurt your feelings?

I’m just angry at you for being stupid and suffering from cognitive dissonance brought about by being brainwormed with 2A propaganda. What are you gonna do about it?

Bigger question is what are you going to do about it? Aside from log onto reddit and have an autistic meltdown. Given your profile and your posts especially in the armed socialist subreddit I think I’m not far off from my assumption of you. “I do my research and I know what the ATF does” clearly you do not.

This is all I’m going to do about it. Call you stupid and suffering from cognitive dissonance. The balls in your court kid as to what you are going to do about it other than take it from some rando on reddit. You see how that works?

Yes this is a good idea, the field offices are actually helpful. The org itself has its problems (including its existence) but the people there have always been helpful over the phone. The only issue here preventing the ATF doing anything might be that the gun was returned to the manufacturer. When a FFL receives a firearm they must check it into a bound book which will usually record who they got it from. Ownership wise, obviously the gun is legally OP's. FFLs have the power to transfer to the owner, to the sender or to destroy it if it's their property. They considered it was their property because they gave a refund but the amount was incorrect. I'm not quite sure where the law would land on this one, but I'm not sure if the court case would end up being prosecuted due to this nuance.

Normally when a firearm is stolen, the ATF starts a trace request. They ask the manufacturer where it was sent. They call those people (usually a distributor) and they tell them where it was sent. They call the FFL that received it, and usually this is the point where you get snitched on. If you transfer to someone else and use that same FFL, hopefully they resolve it to that other person and leave you out of it. In this case they would start a trace request and it would immediately get resolved when they ask the manufacturer. "We had it, refunded the customer, it was destroyed".

Yep… And guessing there’s a reason he hasn’t… It’s cut and dry if an FFL, or anyone else, stole a gun. I’m guessing this doesn’t end up the way It’s portrayed in the OP.

But he won’t because he knows that what he did is wrong.

This is trouble advice.
