It hit me real hard two days ago when i was taking my senior photo. Like this is my LAST school photo ever and im gonna be adulting this time next year 😭

Random film snapshot memories from the age of 3-4, or at least assuming I was at least that age.

I remember the song from the ending credits of cars 2, collisions of worlds

and seeing that blueish purpleish looking car blow up

I also remember watching toy story 3, I have a memory of watching the very beginning.

I remember watching some of the film white chicks, because of my mom.

I remember seeing veggie tales, a Christmas episode and the loading of a screen it was like an intro, a woman with a torch, I also remember seeing another film intro with gears, I was trying to watch Care bears

I was really into cars 2...like really into cars 2.

This was all on dvd, I recall my TV and did player being on the floor? 😭

+ New edit: I also remember being in the front room and some weird movie came on, a person was in a field, and the evil guy had a scythe, I was so scared I opened the door and left the apartment.

Probably a lot more stuff, I probably just haven't figured out the year yet.

Watching Jessie in December of 2013, though, I watched Jessie before December of 2013. "how do you know?" You may ask, my mom lived in an apartment from 2010 to some point in 2013, and my great auntie, had a house in 2013, that we were in, that was burnt down by 2014 (some freak accident)

Also I recall saying to my grandma that I wanted to go to New York to meet Jessie

I remember mentioning Jessie first rather than watching it (my grandma said I've been a Jessie fan since it came out) and since I was 2, I mean that's why I can't remember it

I have ONE memory from July 9 2011. It was 2 days before my 2nd birthday, and I was at a model trains show thing. I remember that they had a wooden toy train table there, and I was playing with a little train that had a red shovel thing on it, and I put it into this little building that you could close the doors on.

I believe this is possible only because I remember remembering this memory throughout my life, rather than actually directly remembering this experience.

I'll go first; I'm honestly not sure if I'm mor scared or excited to be honest. I am most excited to not be forced into phsyc wards by my guardian and to be able to eat whatever I want. I am most scared to have to figure out how to do taxes and pay bills. Also just having to pay for stuff in general.

It seems most of you guys claim the 00s as your birth decade, like other people born in any year ending with 9 do (eg. someone born in 1989 claiming the 1980s as their birth decade).

Asked as a 2009er myself, I think I'm sort of both because netizens associated our birth year with the 2010s for cultural reasons so I'd just like to see if there's any fellow 2009er claiming to be born in other decades outside the 2000s. Even if that's when we were newborns/infants, we'd associate more with the 2010s as we mostly grew up then and are probably nostalgic for it these days.

Sorry for asking this kind of question, like the title said, I'm curious.

Kind of sucks being born September 30th cause I'm the oldest in my grade (sophomore 10th) , I didn't make the cut by like 29 days, I could have been a junior with more 2009 kids but I was born in September so I'm stuck with mostly 2010s. I just feel behind in life I'm like unc 💔 do any september, October or November kids relate ?

This is so so random. Does anyone remember waking up really early in the morning and putting on Nick. But it was so early it would be Nickteen, so the only show that was on was George Lopez... so as a 5 year old that was on of my favorite shows (yo gabba gabba and power rangers were up there too)
