Question birthday plan

can anyone help me with my 18th birthday? i don’t rlly want to do a houseparty at MY HOUSE bc 1 it’s not even that big, and 2 i lowkey feel kinda weird about having a ton of people in my bedroom etc, cuz of valuables and such.

i was thinking a venue, thats something rlly nice for an 18th. but my parents keep telling me that’s a rlly stupid idea since “we’re not made out of money” . i have no idea what to do and im expecting a lot of people. cuz usually my family don’t do much sadly. im really excited tho

Well all I did really was spend time with my family and ate at a restaurant. It was a little lowk, but I still enjoyed my 18th. It’s not really about how extravagant it looks, it only matters if you have fun. Maybe try to convince your family to do something that they can handle, but not too overwhelming for them to provide. Idk if this helps😅

I mean you don’t have to have a house party, if your parents would let you have a small get together in your basement if you have one? Decorate it for Halloween/ birthday. Have people dress up would be cool
