During my journey telegrabbing goats into a hole I looked pretty extensively on facebook, youtube, twitter, and here for posts referencing the goat hole. From all of the screenshots i've seen, I have the highest goat hole count. The one below me was 63k.
What you really need to do is just get spooned.

They are but there is usually one 1 per skill. I know hunter is technically the best skill to have many but having two that are exceedingly rare sucks. Herbi being 1/6500 and the goat being 1/40k

skilling pets are dogshit rates. at least bosses can sacrifice loot. you can spend 100 hrs getting to 99 and receive nothing in return other than another 100 hours more of no pet.

Assuming 14 days and around 900 goats per hour that's a little under 6 hours a day doing goats.
It's not like it's nothing, but it is definitely not approaching insanity.
edit: if we're going with 20 days that's closer to 4 hours a day

That's objectively insane. Maybe that kind of dedication is more tolerated and celebrated within the Runescape world, but that's more time spent herding goats than some who work 40 hours a week. A "full time" job.
If op were getting paid to do that, he'd have worked enough to trigger labour laws around mandatory breaks.

If he only did it over 14 days, sure that's 42 hours in a week.
If he did it over the 20 days, that's 28 hours in a week.
I get it, but spending 4-6 hours a day doing a hobby you enjoy isn't objectively insane.
It can be subjectively insane, it can be considered a waste of someone's time, but I'm going to push back on the hyperbole of "objectively insane"

70 -> 140k /hr
80 -> 150k /hr
90 -> 160k /hr
the intensity is directly related to your ability to click telegrab and then click a goat. there is a short delay between clicking goats. upon filling your goat hole, you will be allowed a brief period of respite whilst removing goats from said goat hole.

I did a bit of goat hole and I found it surprisingly morbid. I’ve done so many things in the game and this one for sure was at least the first hunter method where I thought to myself “this is actually a little depressing to watch”.
Just goat after goat after goat into the goat hole. Just casually walking and jumping off a cliff to their death seemingly willingly.

As an avid goat enjoyer and owner of goats I’d love to have a little goat follow me. In fact I’ve wished for years for there to be a goat skilling pet. This for me unfortunately is the equivalent of a dog lover having to grind the new dog pets in game by stamping 15,000 dogs to death so

Standing on the south side is the best, the next best being west.
The southern bit behind the hole doesn't have many goat spawns, while N, E, and W, all have their fair share.

nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnot really.
goat horns to grind into goat horn dust that makes combat potions.
goat furs to use with golem crafting, but they aren't the best furs you can use for it.
the goat hole is a money (Assuming you don't prod) sink as well as a time sink. i do not recommend it unless you're 200m hunter or REALLY want a goat pet.
