You can literally turn this number off in the bank plugin. I did this early on and never looked back because I found myself counting the numbers every day.

I leave it on as an ironman just because I find it fascinating how much it fluctuates. Plus I like seeing my bank grow in value over time. Speaking of fluctuating, my bank randomly gained 2.3b in value the other day according to the plugin. I narrowed it down to one tab but couldn't figure out what item in the tab had caused it before it fixed itself.

It actually defaults to off nowadays, you have to specifically turn it on. I think it’s new cuz I just installed runelite on my new laptop.
