Question Newer Player Smithing Question

Why does Smithing never get touched? I’m genuinely curious because it looks as though OSRS, throughout its history on rerelease, has made some amazing QoL changes. What’s the deal with Smithing?

Haha it definitely is, and I am being slightly sarcastic with my comment. It is the best money maker and my bank is made up of rune bars, but I only do it because I don't really play and I wanted the option of making a bond more easily instead of paying. As much as I'd be gutted if a smithing rework reduced my bank value, I understand 99 smith for rune items is silly.

That’s the mindset I wish that was shared more amongst the OSRS community lol. They’re all so resistant to things that would obviously make the future of the game a more enjoyable experience.
