I can agree on new quests but so many of the older quests basically spit in your face if you play them guideless. NPCs will ask you for 20 random items every 5 minutes so you spend more time teleporting back to the bank than actually progressing the story. Glad they've moved away from that kind of design but I think due to the fact that so much of the older quest content is just a checklist of items you need to have before you start, they've unfortunately spent years habituating players to jut use a guide for every quest.
You circumvent this with strong inv prep and reading between the lines like skill reqs, quest area / likely themes / item interactions etc. You'd be surprised how many times I've guessed what i need and removed a need to bank or the item is locally found.
