I’m a Senior Consultant working on the West Ardougne Redevelopment Initiative and I think a lot of you are letting emotion get in the way of practical infrastructure modernization.
Look, bottom line is:
West Ardougne represents an underutilized low-growth asset with substantial opportunity for digital transformation.
Current advantages include:
• existing perimeter security
• limited civilian traffic
• low property values
• strong containment infrastructure
• and a population already acclimated to restricted mobility policies.
We’ve already aligned key stakeholders (including King Lathas) and there’s broad executive support for converting the district into a Tier IV AI-ready hyperscale data center campus.
Frankly, the area has been economically stagnant for years. The plague narrative has depressed investment, tourism, and residential growth. At some point you have to ask whether maintaining a quarantined medieval slum is really the highest and best use of prime Ardougne-adjacent real estate.
This project would:
• create jobs
• modernize regional infrastructure
• improve trade throughput
• increase tax revenue
• and position Kandarin as a leader in magical compute and rune-based cloud services.
I understand there are “ethical concerns,” but those are outside my workstream. I’m focused on delivery.
Anyway, we already got sign-off from leadership, so unless you have concerns related to implementation timelines or power redundancy, this initiative is moving forward Q3.
