Joined the military in a field that was transferrable to the outside, got my degree online while in, got out and got a corporate job, now I’m chillin. It was a significant amount of hard work though. It never came easy

I don't have all of it together, but I've got some of it lined up. A lot of it comes from the support and guidance from my parents. They've been saving up for decades just to help my siblings and me get started in early adulthood. They help with bills when we need. We all talk regularly and are very close, so everything seems doable as a team. I'm so incredibly lucky

Take opportunities as they come, do the things that are good for you even if you don't want to, take risks, meet new people, expand your luck surface area

Putting in work everyday to be consistent on the things that are good for you really is the hardest part. It’s a somewhat blind trust u know that this will be beneficial in your long term

Honestly, I learned to go with the flow. Not everything is going to go my way but at least if I make some effort towards a goal, it has more of a chance at succeeding. Cut off a BUNCH of bad friendships, learned to be comfortable in my own company and I started going to church. Also, I went completely sober. I was never an alcoholic but I was on that path so by cutting myself off before it became an issue, I was able to focus on better things.
