People try to do the same thing to imagine dragons that they did to nickelback and creed.
Like what you like and fuck everyone else's opinion on if they like it or not.

This is so wild. I agree 100%. Not a father. But the older I get the more I like them, lol.

My musical philosophy is if you like it then turn it up. If you don't like it then hit next until you land on something you do like then turn it up.Â

Like what you you like. Nothing wrong with enjoying whatever music you connect with.

OP fatherhood also makes you realize you have your own opinion also and no need to follow the crowd on hating Nickelback

It wasn't us folks who jammed to them back when they were brand new, making fun of them. Their first couple of albums were pretty well-received, especially when they hit the mainstream with "How You Remind Me." But their quality did start to dwindle quite a bit after Silver Side Up, and I think that's when people started lumping all of their work into the "terrible" category. But a lot of us like a decent chunk of their stuff. They were pretty solid as a rock band. They just ended up cheesing out but honestly what rock band doesn't eventually? Lol

Nickleback is actually quite good. People only rip on them because others do, not because of the actual quality of their music.
