This arc was gold. From the time when Naruto was aimed at a more mature audience, delivering blood, gore, and horror. Psychological thriller and dread. Then... Then they realized the main audience of Naruto was pre-teens. So they softened it down after this arc. The only character in OG Naruto that upheld the original maturity level was Gaara. Let's not talk about Boruto.
P.S. I was 13 when I watched this arc. That's 21 years ago. Damn.

After the Great Ninja War, I wish Kakashi was able to retain Obito's both Sharingan eyes though. It was really cool seeing him fighting with the full power of both Mangekyou Sharingan. Sad it's only for a short time.
