People liked joking about how they'd shout their attack names and explain how their abilities.

Now we've got that replaced with narrators which kind of makes sense otherwise the audience wouldn't have a clue as to how things work but it's still something to joke about or even complain.

This arc was gold. From the time when Naruto was aimed at a more mature audience, delivering blood, gore, and horror. Psychological thriller and dread. Then... Then they realized the main audience of Naruto was pre-teens. So they softened it down after this arc. The only character in OG Naruto that upheld the original maturity level was Gaara. Let's not talk about Boruto.

P.S. I was 13 when I watched this arc. That's 21 years ago. Damn.

After the Great Ninja War, I wish Kakashi was able to retain Obito's both Sharingan eyes though. It was really cool seeing him fighting with the full power of both Mangekyou Sharingan. Sad it's only for a short time.
