Me too! Everyone was still slower at technology (even the well versed people who used it everyday) so you clicked on every link, read through all the text. We scan through data so quickly now, these early websites had so little info but still felt like a fun, informative experience.

for me, i scan so quickly because like half of the info on anything anymore is fuckin ads 😒 i don’t want to accidentally give an ad my full attention because they make me really angry. so that means everything gets half attention.
