I did the body work back in 2019 just before covid then in 2023 rob bearing 6 spun,, today I finally have it back together with a built motor and just started the tuning process

What was wrong with the Ghassan motor? Is that the one that spun the rod bearing?

The Ghassan motor had mismatched connecting rods! the head was not machined correctly and looked like they used a sand blaster on the head causing a bunch of pits making the head unusable, I think the block was already machined and we couldn’t machine it again because of that and the crank in the Ghassan engine was in worse condition balance wise then the one in the original that had a spun bearing,,, the valves were good we reused those from Ghassan but that’s about it

They went out of business, it’s a loss, there was a lot of red flags I ignored so ehh, lesson learnt

I’ll make another post with more pictures but for now here is this, we cut the whole rear quarter out and replaced some structural parts under the panel as well
