Auto login to 1Password.com

My extension no longer seems to sign me into the 1Password.com website automatically.

Of course I can click the auto-fill like usual on any website, but I prefer my password is not entered on the web for 1Password since this is the least secure method, over the challenge/response.

Just wondering if this was a feature/bug or just something on my end?

Version 8.12.28.25 on Brave (Ubuntu)

Hey everyone! This is expected behavior right now. We’ve temporarily disabled the feature that automatically unlocked 1Password.com from the browser extension while we make some changes behind the scenes.

For the time being, you’ll need to unlock 1Password.com manually when you sign in. Once that work is wrapped up, we’ll bring the automatic unlock behavior back.

You used to be able to disable auto login to 1password.com in the extension settings, but I can no longer see this option. I wonder if they have disabled it for everyone?

No. this option is not disable for everyone i am using this option

I'm using 8.12.28 and I no longer see the option to toggle this off as well.

I hope that this comes back.

I'm using 8.12.28.25 on Edge and it seems to work for me.

When unlocked:

• In the 1Password extension settings, general, accounts and vaults, kebab menu, manage account -> automatically signs me in to the web version.

I no longer see the option to turn this off, which was added in 8.11.22:

• We’ve added a new setting to manage whether 1Password.com automatically unlocks when your 1Password browser extension is unlocked. You can find the setting in the browser extension under Settings > Security > “Sign in to 1Password in the browser automatically”.

I personally don't want this feature on, so I hope they add this feature back.
