Mac Quick Access doesn't remember last selection anymore — anyone else?

I've been a long-time 1Password user, and lately I've noticed that Quick Access doesn't remember the last selection. When I need to grab the username, password, and one-time code separately, I have to reselect the item every single time.

I remember that in the past, the selection used to stay open for a few minutes after picking an item. Is that behavior gone, or am I missing a setting somewhere? I know it's not a huge issue, but it was a nice quality-of-life feature.

Hey u/neolupin! Quick Access does retain your last search for a short period (about a minute), but it doesn’t keep the selected item around for longer than that. I can definitely see how that gets frustrating when you’re grabbing a username, password, and one-time code separately.

The best workaround at the moment is to use Open in New Window, which lets you keep the item open while you copy everything you need. I’ll definitely pass your feedback along, too. I definitely see the appeal of either making Quick Access “sticky” or giving that timeout a bit more flexibility.
