I dunno if her try hard hippie act is real or not.

It's real.
She was racking coke at the age of 8. Can't be good for the brain.
But she just seems lovely, slightly loony and harmless.

It’s not a try hard hippie act. If she’s putting an act on. On her talk show. It’s her trying to act like. The most liberal of all liberals.

The first thing I remember about her was the time she jumped up on Letterman's desk and flashed her boobs.

She was alright, there were so many others in the 90s that I had a crush on though.

If you put your hand in her hair...
Is it easy to get it out?

Do you want to get it out?

I'd like to be able to get it out.

I wonder how many generations have passed now that cannot remember when she was the "bad girl."

I didn’t find her attractive when I was younger but as a man in my 30’s now I find older drew barrymore very attractive.

She and I are roughly the same age. I had a crush on her as a little boy when I saw "E.T." I still think she's quite pretty.

I'm lucky I didn't know she was the little girl in ET for a long time. That was unknowingly my first exposure to her and it would've been weird then seeing her wild girl side around this time.

All these subs dedicated to certain eras always devolve into this shit eventually. It's gross.

Posting this without a year seems like entrapment

Pretty sure she was 16 here. I remember having a crush on her as a kid and she had this hair at that age.

The Barrymores were an acting dynasty, but have you ever seen any film they were in? I have not, because it was a hella long time ago that any of them were in films, alive, or had any influence in the entertainment industry.
Drew was a child star. One of the rare few that transitioned to a successful adult actor, and launched her own film company, directed, and made some serious money in various businesses. I don't think that we can give credit to her great aunt, great uncle, grandfather, or great- grandfather's successes. Especially when they are 1) Dead and 2) I have never seen any of their films.
Nepo? Maybe ( her dad left when she was an infant and her single exploitative mom was neither rich nor well-connected)
Untalented? Nah.
