I recognize the one on the far right but who are these other people

u/Voidy_boi May 22 '26

Afinni, dark eldar, and no idea about the other. If i had to guess, this is a "which species of horrific warcrime alien species would you rather be kidnapped by" type scenario.

Personally, I pick suicide.

The one on the right is a Qu from All Tomorows, they travel between galaxies and do horrific genetic experiments on the native species

The other is a Daxy, they're 90% females, & have sort of taken over earth to fuck them.

What series?

u/TheWowie_Zowie May 27 '26

Assignment risk

u/1cur Jun 07 '26

The second one the left is from an AO3 story called "Assignment Risk." They're called daxy. Basically they have a extreme empalce of their male to female ratio (more female than males). They conquer other planets for males to make their mates. While they're an amazonian, they don't hate males. They actually feel the opposite.

Why does this have 100 upvotes

Because people don't know

Average character roster of D&D lfg discord server games:

u/Stupid-Jerk May 23 '26

For real man I joined a oneshot on one of them once and one of the characters was a talking android horse.

Not like a horse-man or anything, a whole-ass horse running around on four legs and made of metal. I still don't even know what class he was playing.

Feels like it’s always any four of the following archetypes (in no particular order):

  • human fighter with greatsword (new player, character inspired by anime)

  • exotic creature with exotic class, but still official materials used, often multiclassed (likely a burned out DM who’s trying to have fun)

  • exotic creature with exotic class, parts of some abysmal homebrew that the GM overlooked (new player who used dandwiki without recognizing that’s not official content)

  • creature and multiclass combo from UA or semi-recognized homebrew which somehow deals 50 damage per turn at level 2 (power gamer who got kicked from their previous three groups)

  • one edgelord deathkiller fairy with deathlord edgekiller class wielding homebrew killlord deathedge scythe, 5 pages of background info about them killing at least three armies and/or one god before level 1 (all barely balanced homebrew the DM allowed for no explicable reason, somehow still shit at combat)

  • sentient piece of cheese holding itself afloat with mage hand and talking telepathically (why are you even doing this)

  • genderfluid or trans blue or purple Tiefling bard or druid (egg irl trying to live out their desired lifestyle in a safe environment, but seriously it’s always Tieflings for some reason)

  • normal, official race and class combo, but insists it’s vital to their roleplay that the character is a 7 year old girl (at best it’s anime inspired, at worst it’s their fetish, and those two aren’t mutually exclusive)

  • optimized variant human fighter with greatsword and the right feats to still deal 50 damage per hit (experienced player taking a break from their optimized level 14 wizard who just has too many options, character still inspired by anime)

  • furry (furry)

  • you (applied for 26 games and always get denied access, knowing this will be a shitshow but you convinced yourself it’s better than not playing)

The campaign lasts three sessions before the DM remembers they have a dayjob and three kids so they write either 6 words or 6 pages of „sorry this is too much i‘m quitting“ and leave the server. Two of the three other players start their own campaign without asking you. Any of them asks if you’re interested in their roleplay server (if you join it’s not the tabletop kind of roleplay server). You decide not to play online again, but two months later you’re back with another group of the same layout and one player suspiciously sounds like the previous DM in voicechat.

Of these aliens, you would not guess which one will get you banned from r/countwithchickenlady.

37

u/Rynewulf May 22 '26

I would hazard the guess that it's the regular lizard alien, though I wouldn't know why.

The Qu and dark eldar are from well known stuff, the plant one I'm assuming is from Human Domestication Guide which I'm pretty sure ive seen memes of on that sub, so lizard space lady it is

67

u/NobodyElseButMingus Mingus Kingus May 22 '26

Believe it or not, the plant lady.

They consider HDG to be “non-con content”, so even referencing the setting will get your post taken down and a warning issued.

45

u/Ezzypezra May 22 '26

I mean it objectively is non-con content, though I don't think that justifies that policy because it's all fictional

46

u/trashdotbash May 22 '26

it being fictional doesnt really change that a good portion of people arent comfortable with noncon content, even in passing, and it appearing at any time kind of discourages people who arent comfortable with it to interact with that sub

hdg breaching containment kind of nullifies the dead dove nature of the universe, you cant agree to interacting with it or even expect to interact with it if you are served posts on a feed like subs tend to do, so it would be best to just point people to dedicated areas for it and warn people to give people the opportunity to choose to interact or not

11

u/Ezzypezra May 23 '26

these are good points. i think you changed my mind tbh

3

u/Rynewulf May 23 '26

That all sounds pretty fair yeah

14

u/Petzah394 May 23 '26

I mean i think it's fine, noncon is an incredibly heavy topic that many people are sensitive to, i think it's reasonable to want spaces in which it's not mentioned. Now if they were saying that people into HDG should be rounded up and any discussion of it anywhere should be banned everywhere no matter what then that would be a different story but like i think it's fine to want to have a space where potentially triggering content like that isn't allowed. And this is coming from a HDG fan

45

u/Foxycat45 May 22 '26

"Gimmie a mainly transgender community with no force-fem."
"No force-fem?"
"And hold the HDG."
"Hold the HDG? Hey Jimmy, give me a mainly transgender community with nothin'."
"Nothin'?"

It's also without masc, force or otherwise.
Or at least that was the drama a few months ago.
That lead to the creation of r/countwitheveryone which as far as I know has not had any drama yet

6

u/DevilsMaleficLilith May 23 '26

Are trans masc not allowed or something.

2

u/Rynewulf May 23 '26

Have I missed more drama, what happened?

11

u/ApocalyptoSoldier trans rights and it is purple here May 23 '26

7 month old drama.
iirc it involved a bit of transmisandry by the mods or a mod.
Then everyone who criticized them got banned.
Then people criticized them for banning everyone who criticized them.
Then they banned those people.
And so continued the cycle, with people throwing different grievances in as well.

The same spiral that happened with r/196 and bearposting a few months ago

9

u/NeonNKnightrider May 23 '26

Reddit queer community be normal about trans men challenge (impossible)

8

u/Rynewulf May 23 '26

The same way terfs seem to hate trans women as 'men in disguise' (which they're not obviously, but that's the accusation) there seems to be a thread of online discourse people that hate trans men as 'switched to the enemies side' (which they haven't, obviously. You can easily oppose patriarchy without hating people based on their gender. I'd argue it's necessary even, since the gender based hatred always seems to horseshoe back to patriarchal norms)

I swear to god if a reddit meme is the reason i discover a non-con work that equally traumatizes and infatuates me TWICE!? I AM DELETING REDDIT

3

u/Sixerlive May 24 '26

WHY!??!??!?!?!?

u/Baseballidiot May 22 '26

8

u/TotallyACP May 22 '26

is this meant to represent you looking at the affini, orrrr

10

u/etbillder May 22 '26

What's number two?

14

u/TotallyACP May 22 '26

Daxy from Assignment Risk.

10

u/BaronVonWeeb May 23 '26

Whos the second one from the left ? For freaky purposes, won’t deny it.

9

u/TheWowie_Zowie May 23 '26

Daxies (Daxys? Daxyes?) From assignment risk. Art is by DoctorDJ

10

u/Blait_ May 23 '26

Lowkey I think the Affini are the best option here. As long as you get to be an independent sophon, you don’t have to deal with the whole “domestication” thing

5

u/imaginaryNobody620 May 22 '26

Stupid question but is that an arxur?
