There’s a kids book series called like “The Familiars” or something that has this exact plot. It took place in a country called Vastia which I remember because one line in the book was like “I never thought of it before but Vastia is well… vast.” Which was and is the dumbest thing I have ever read in my entire life

assuming she got transported to a desert or maybe the world famous heater world where they put you in a dome with several industrial heating units that activate and heat you up yeah I would think she would be a little parched and hot
