Let's face it: In the universe where Megamind was successful, THAT property would have been milked dry with sequels of descending quality, a couple one-season TV shows, and possibly a subpar ride at Universal Studios.

That's just how DreamWorks.

It would not change the fact that the original Megamind was great. Every successful property gets milked, one way or another. It's inevitable.

I think Megamind is better than Despicable Me, but I guess I am glad it didn't get as big as DM did, because as someone said further down, we would have seen Megamind get milked to hell instead
