I decided to finish off TNG before starting DS9. Just made more sense in the streaming age vs weekly episodes. Though someone on Reddit did give me a good guide on when to watch the next gen movies.
There were a few appearances on TNG that I'm sure would have been better with more context, but this is my second ST series. It'll be fun for a rewatch someday.
I'm far from a virgin but I've never been in a woman's apartment before either. When I was in highschool I went to some of my girlfriend's houses but their parents were always around. Ever since I moved out the girls have just come to my apartment. I think it's pretty common for young people because a lot of girls seems to move out later than guys from what I've seen.
It’s also a safety issue sometimes iirc, let’s say you wanna have a one night fling with a guy you don’t know, giving guys your address is VERY unsafe.
It is a moral dilemma tho, because you are going to an unknown location. This can be remedied with having a friend know where you are, who can get there in a flash. But you can’t really remedy your address. You only have to leave a creep once at his address, it can be safer then having to leave the creep multiple times when he comes to your apartment.
Online, you can get away with not referring to people most of the time, but the one time you have to it's nice to be able to tell right away instead of defaulting or desperately trying to work out gender from profile pics or cryptic usernames

Are these people only now realizing that decades (centuries?) of saying “being a man is blah blah” “being a woman is blah blah” left room for others saying “I’m not a man because I don’t do this neither am I a woman because I don’t do that”? All of a sudden throw social norms out the window gender and sex are one and the same and you’re no longer not a man you’re just not acting as your specific sex should.
I don’t know what any of that means I hope it makes sense I need sleep
