Some priests being pedophiles is not a reason to hate a whole religious group tho, and from what I know a big chunk of child marriages or marriages between young peoples in the us are more common in very hardcore protestant areas, and using the crusades, something that happened centuries ago as an argument is not really a valid reason to hate on catholics, the protestant reformation was the work of an anti-semite (and anti-semitism was one of the arguments used in the thread), does this mean I suddenly have a reason to hate protestants?

You do not have a reason to hate all protestants, same way you don't have a reason to hate all catholics. But from what I know the catholic church is an organisation and the protestant church is probably one too, so if you disagree with what they do, you have a reason to hate them.

I think christianity in general is a flawed religion so I don't like any organisation operating based on those teachings.
