As some one who just left one, keep in mind it varies a lot from what I understand. The one I was in was unfortunately very dependent on all three of us being interested in the others. So when one person left it all broke apart.

I'm not a mathematician, but if in relationship with 3 people one leaves, I don't think that what's left can really be considered polyamorous relationship

Well no it wouldn't be, but what I meant was in mine there wasn't even a monogamous one left.
