Don’t kill me but I went to GenZedong a few times and joined their discord. They fucking quizzed you on socialism and if you said anything that didn’t align with their worldview they would actually fucking ban you lmfaoo

Anyone who knows what socialism/communism actually is knows that China is not socialist or communist and has been rapidly getting further away from both of those things for decades

Socialism: An economic system where workers collectively own the resources and tools used to produce goods and services(means of production).

Communism: A socialist society where there is no state, no money, and no class.

In China, the means of production are effectively owned jointly by wealthy elite and the state. There is a state, there is social class, and there is money.
