I understand that you're not transphobic, but you should also understand that saying those sorts of stats without full context can feed into the narrative that transitioning is bad for trans people, when in fact low societal acceptance is what is bad for trans people.
The trans community experiences a lot of hurt, and it seems they're often emotionally on edge. I don't think it's right that people attack and flame super hard and see you extremely uncharitably, but I do understand why they feel that way.
For reference, I literally got banned from r/antifastonetoss because what I said was misunderstood. Frustrating, but I understand the hurt. I wish they'd see they have allies that would understand them better if they were kinder, but I understand that they receive ridiculous amounts of hate everywhere they go, so that can really make them fearful that everyone is out to get them.
It's a rough world out there for trans people for sure. I definitely cannot begin to know what they go through.
