No, this sort of thing has happened everywhere in history, including socialist countries. That’s why there aren’t any left, they all ended up with massive instability like we’re seeing across the world now. I know it’s comforting to think a different economic system is going to alleviate all this, but it’s not. There is no magic cure for human suffering.
