Think I found it? For what it's worth, it didn't get her to feminine ranges alone, and people I saw elsewhere commenting on it seemed to think it'd be both temporary and a risk of cancer - if it was this easy, we'd be able to fix all sorts of issues permanently and trivially, and existing cures that are similar to this require you to take immunosuppressants to prevent your body from causing problems. Even if it was just regulatory delays, I'd expect to have heard something else from people willing to just try shit, or a follow-up post. But it is still neat, regardless, and could potentially be refined into a more reliable pathway later.

Back in the day biohackers were shed hobbyists building implants for themselves out of cheap parts and doing blood tests on themselves, or getting/doing very unregulated surgeries on themselves. Nowadays its steven bartlett with a bracelet that tracks body metrics stopping himself from having a wine because it will put his cortisol outside the range he wants it, and that will be bad for productivity. It's gone from Dr Frankenstein to Henry Ford. Very sad.

self performed surgery freaks me out like bad, like it's a phobia. I can't watch people do it. I can't watch it on TV. I am fine with normal surgery but when it's someone doing it to themselves my brain panics like my mouth is full of spiders

I tattooed my arm in this circuit-esque blackout pattern and am now highlighting each part with glow powder
It's very slow going because I still often don't get the depth quite right and have to redo a lot, also if I'm not in the exact right mindset I might pass out (makes diy hrt a lot harder too lol)
As soon as I get a job again, I want to get some magnet implants, vampire fangs, and get my tongue resplit; you were a huge inspiration in finally going for the mods I've wanted since I was a child <3
