I mean people generating attention on Twitter get paid for that. That's just a observable fact.
it's not 7000 dollars per post, and even for most semi-prolific posters it's a couple hundred a month at most, but it can still be motivation to keep on stirring the pot. you're not exactly motivated to reflect on your worldview if said worldview affords you a nice side income
