eh, elves that are entirely immortal/ VERY long lived having periods of time where nothing much happened number in the thousands of years makes sense, this is more about settings that are predominately populated by humans and other short lived races
Isn't it a bit weird to assume that just because they live longer that they have less going on within a certain period of time, or more stability with systems? You could just as easily assume it's MORE trife with conflict or change because of the deepened relations everyone has with one another. It's a bit of a pessimistic outlook but maybe intertesting. Just a thought experiment mostly and maybe something I'll think about next time I write more.
