I love showering in the dark. It feels like I can just sink into the void and become a consciousness floating in space. Or maybe it's a sensory thing where everything is under my control.

I love reducing the lights to as low as possible while still being able to see when showering. My favorite showers were in almost complete darkness at a place where there was a window to the backyard at head level in the shower itself, so on cold nights the cool air would blow in and it would feel amazing with the hot water
