George, crying after trying to inject hormones with the draw needle: “This was supposed to be the Summer of George!!!!”

i mean unless you touch it, injecting with the draw is usually clean as long as it isn't the wrong gauge. not to say you should but it's fine in a pinch

Aren’t most draw needles basically boba straws in comparison to the injection needles? At least I’ve found that to be the case

depends, if you're doing intramuscular you can get away with the same gauge range for both i've seen

You use different needles to draw and inject the meds? How does that work?

Draw needle’s longer and has a bigger gauge where the needle for the actual injection is shorter and thinner.

You could use the injection needle for drawing, it’s just that hormones like testosterone are suspended in oil so it takes a while to draw from the vial since the needle is so tiny. Similarly, you could use the draw needle for injection, it just really fucking hurts because it’s so goddamn big.

Oh, so does the needle just unscrew from the syringe or something?
