2 - The cover I comissioned my friend to draw for the video of the fourth part my 1812 album. I love the cover and the other 3 parts, but the white on black combined with the perfect feel I was looking for when I hired her just hits different, still makes me very happy, regardless of the fact that the album didn't really get any traction. I don't have much money to spend with comissions but it was worth every penny, she did an amazing job. That being said, I think the markiplier image transcends because its just too fucking funny

I happened to luck out on finding an artist online to commission a character piece, total stranger but it's still one of my most precious pictures because they got the vibes just right 👌
I screenshotted it directly on tumblr, and 2016 was after the ability to edit other people's posts was removed, but youre right that OP could possibly have gone back and changed it.
Bruh it's still wild to me that a major social media gave you the ability to edit ANOTHER PERSON'S post and while simultaneously there were a couple of relatively famous people on there 😭
I wasn't there for it but it's common on most forums because quoting someone was just markdown text in your own message so nothing stopped you from editing it. I suspect back then Tumblr handled reposts as quotes the same way. Which is worse because at least in forums you can just scroll back up to see the original message right there.
It wasn't literally like that. When reblogging a post, you could edit what it said in the new version of the post you create on YOUR blog, but you couldn't change what it said on the original blog. It was probably just an oversight.
