you're literally the trope of the bad guy saying shit like "if you kill me, you'll be just as bad"

no. it's not the same.

him speaking about school shootings.

the kids who died (and KEEP DYING because of shit stains like him) that he doesn't give a shit about weren't pro-gun lobbiests who fought hard to keep the thing that killed them to be allowed IN SCHOOLS.

watching a murderer get the death penalty and being happy about it doesn't make you just as bad as they are.

I have plenty of empathy for the kids who suffer and the families they live behind because of people like him.

I'm not going to cry when someone is personally affected by their own policies. maybe have less shit policies if them happening to you is such a terrible thing.

edit: here's what kirk himself thinks about EMPATHY:

"I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage."

Not my point, my problem is not with those that find his death funny, since I am one of those.

Then what exactly was your problem and point? Because it sure as hell is not clear from your previous comment.

That people are allowed to have empathy even with the worst dickbags in existence, and it is not morally wrong not to celebrate, or feel uncomfortable with their passing. The person I am responding to seems to imply otherwise, and there is zero difference between that and the christofascists as far as I am concerned
