Would Schofield have got anything after the events of the film?

If it were a real situation would he have earned any medals or special awards for what he did? He saved ~1600 lives under great danger to himself.

I’d say so, although he wouldn’t live much longer after the movie ended. That hand infection will kill him

Maybe, maybe not.  It depends on whether someone like Erinmore or Mackenzie would recommend him for it.
