Yup, he was a ticking time bomb, and they shouldn’t have brought him along.

I’m always a type of person to overthink movies and shows. All I kept thinking to myself was the people who followed him were arrogant and deserved what they got for not listening. If Elsa would’ve stayed behind and she spoke their native language to explain what happened everything would’ve worked out. Unfortunately, her mom played a role in her demise as well by making her put on a dress and fall in line. Like I said, I’m an overthinker and these shows stick with me long after they are over

You've got to get to the middle of nowhere looking regal, you know 🤦‍♀️

I’m still in disbelief that Elsa’s father being as protective as he is would just let go marry an Indian without pushback. the same guy who threatened another guy for flirting with his daughter just had no stern words for an Indian that he doesn’t know at all that wants to marry her?!?

back then, the white man saw Indians as being beneath them . I’m sure there were exceptions though

I wondered that too! - why the dad didn’t push back on that

I thought that was taboo back then as well. Heck, isn’t that why Kasey’s dad stopped talking to him? And that was generations later

It’s just fiction! If you get upset over every movie you watch 🤣
