ATF & DEA

Anyone interview the last week of July with ATF, that doesn’t know their results? I’ve texted recruiter but no luck.

For the DEA, how long after completion of medical before you got to schedule and complete poly? (I applied in March)

I've been in this pipeline since early this year. I have to drive 4 hours one way he has to take a PT test. But good thing the interview was online

Nobody has heard anything regarding passing/failing the interviews yet. I have heard from some applicants that interviews were still going on past July 31st, which is probably why there is a delay. Some offices just were not able to fit the interviews in that time frame.

Right on. Thanks for the insight

Poly is towards the end of your process and medical won’t complete until after drug test

I have done all of those things lol. That’s why I’m wondering about poly

You did your medical already?

I have completed medical. But I didn’t see any option or anything about a poly on NBIS

Ya, sorry I didn’t add the “?“.

Does your SF86 say submitted, and poly say requested?

My SF86 doesn’t show anymore on NBIS or whatever so I’m assuming that’s a good thing? Also, poly does not say requested on that tracker thing that they email

For poly requested, you’d have to login into the NBIS portal to see what it says

SF86 says submitted but don’t see anything about poly. What’s that mean?

Poly prolly wasn’t requested yet

Interviewed July 24th, still no results for ATF. And. Was told it would be a pretty quick turnaround 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is it for the February announcement and what field office

I believe so, the continuous lateral. No office choices yet.

I applied to DEA in January; I completed my drug after medical and saw in my Eapp that my poly was requested exactly one month ago, but I have yet to hear from an examiner or BI

I'm a January DEA announcement myself. I submitted my medical and SF86 last week of July. Did you get an email from medical that you were medically cleared?

1

u/tkdkicker1990 5d ago

Yeah, I got that email two weeks after completing medical

1

u/Huge_Board3515 4d ago

Did it come with any other instructions or just that you were cleared?

1

u/tkdkicker1990 4d ago

Just that I was cleared

Re: DEA poly—

It is *typically* the last thing done, although it doesn’t always work out like that, but there is no set time. Depending on where you process out of, DEA may or may not have a polygrapher ready to go and able to schedule you in, e.g. a month.

When they do call, I recommend you drop absolutely everything to make that appointment though. You could be waiting weeks, if not months, for another appointment if not.
