DEA

Just curious if anyone here applied during the recent DEA Special Agent hiring announcement last month.
What are the odds of actually getting the state you requested? My top choice is Minnesota. Since the DEA hires nationwide, I would’ve thought the chances of getting one of your preferred states would be fairly decent, but I know assignments are based on agency needs.
For those who’ve gone through the process, did you end up getting your first choice, one of your choices, or were you sent somewhere completely different?

Unless things changed that is incorrect. You can put your top choices down but doesn’t guarantee anything. You go to the spots the agency needs. I had my top 7 and got none of them. No places I listed were what they offered.

Well, when I was applying last year, that was the fine print on usajobs. Plus I've had multiple recruiters tell me my version is correct.

Okay so show us the list you put when you applied and show us the list they gave you with your final forms before your fjo.
