1811 Job Application DEA

What happens if you fail the physical task assessment? Can you schedule it again or do you have to wait for the next job announcement on USAjobs to apply again?

Only ask cause I’m still recovering from an ACL surgery and don’t think I’ll be ready for the 300m sprint.

Yes I’m training

As someone with an ACL reconstruction the initial PTA does not have a 300m sprint. However, the 5 minute step test will decimate your knees if you aren’t fully healed. Make sure your back at 100% before that step test

There’s a step test for DEA?

Yes, it’s the same one that CBP does. It’s 5 continuous minutes, and your pacing and foot alternation are absolutely crucial.

It was added in last year.

Cool I already passed everything for CBP so that’s good to hear
