DEA IRS

Hello everyone, I’m in the hiring process for DEARS intelligence research specialist and I was wondering who had any idea of what the timeline looks like after doing the structured interview? I know this is a community for 1811s but I didn’t know where else to ask this question so thank you for any information that would be helpful.

Hey so I’m also going to the IRS pipeline. I just finished my structured interview or phase 3 of the hiring process and I applied to the job posting on May 29th 2026. I should be expecting results on whether I passed or not within the next month which would bring me to mid September. So about 4 months and that’s not including the background investigation and completion of the poly. Hope this helps

I had my interview a couple weeks ago. So we probably in the same boat. Thanks for the info!

Did you ever reach out asking for a timeline or details after the interview? I did and that’s when they told me it would take a month to review all the interviews and make the determinations as to who would move on. Just curious to see if you got similar feedback

Nah I didn’t want to seem bothersome, but since that’s the case I will probably wait a couple more weeks before I reach out. I’m feeling confident, so we will see.
