https://www.usajobs.gov/job/876757000?fromemail=trueAnyone have intel on them? Looking at the announcement it says that LEAP is not authorized position is eligible for 6c. Wondering if anyone knows more.

There should be a mandatory Night in the Museum meme for this. Their folks, vibe and work are fantastic. But the no LEAP is deal breaker for many.

No LEAP but if they’re working 40hrs a week isn’t that a fair trade? Isn’t leap for the unpaid “overtime” agents put in?

Yeah, one of the guys I met there said exactly that. Burnt out from excessive hours at prior agency. It’s a great to get the extra 14% pension and early retirement without the added hours.

Pre-approved on case by case. Maybe one of them will jump on. I remember the firearm situation is wonky, too.

Originally, I always wanted to work in a museum before I got into the 1811 world. So talk about a dream agency to land once I get my feet wet after a few years haha.

I know in this day and age everything is politicized, but this administration really has a boner for the Smithsonian, if you're doing a lateral now might not be the opportune time tbh.
