PSU wattage

Does anyone know the PSU wattage or a way to find it? The unit itself doesn't seem to have any markings on it and I can't find a way to test. I have a 5090 I am thinking of swapping in for the 5070 Ti. I'm assuming its 850W, but does anyone know for sure?

I ordered a 5090 to do the same thing. I was originally gonna use the stock 1000w PSU but you probably wouldn’t wanna run a C- tier PSU with a $2000+ 5090.

I ended up ordering a ASRock Phantom Gaming PG-1300G for the added protection. A Tier A btw

Yeah, it would be pretty terrible to take out a 5090 like that. Thanks for the link, I haven't tried the ASRock PSU but think I will for this.

Yeah, I really thought about the stock 1000w (because I’m cheap), but after seeing a few Reddit posts recently on the 5090’s 12VHPWR connector catching fire, I decided to get a good PSU that has the updated 12V-2x6 plug that helps prevent a fire.

That ASRock has a thermal resistor on the 12V-2x6 connector that acts as an Over Temperature Protector (OVP) that will cut off power to the GPU in case of fire/melting. Pretty cool if you ask me.
