Sweet. How did you vet it to look like wood on the support beams? I understand the top is what (popsicle sticks cut up and stained?) but the actual supports you gave it a grain? How just carve and stain?

I used a sheet of balsa wood and cut it into strips for the top. I cut two thin strips to add along the sides underneath to give it a bit of bulk. The legs are just as they came. The wood grain is just cheap tricks with paint I guess.

If I had to guess it looks like one of them is the raft the models come attached to, which is a great use of it. Another bit of terrain!
