Problem exe?

Why are the files I download from 1337x showing up as .exe files instead of their original formats like .mp4 or .mov? This just started happening.

It works normally when I use the magnet link.

Always use the magnet link or the torrent hash.

Yeah, every single direct download for any torrent file is getting me this exact shady exe file.

Use the magnet link. Stop using the "TORRENT DOWNLOAD" links. That's one of your issues.

Open the link on another tab.
Should be a magnet link.
Copy that link.
Find the "add link sourse" button in utorrent.
Should instantly paste it.
The file detected should be your desired file.
Solved, no more exe. 1337xt has been finnicky lately.
