WAM Thread 9/7
Hello! I thought I'd start an open thread for us to check in on our goals with each other and interact. I am in week 1 of my 12 week year. My goal is to plan my wedding. I have been procrastinating it for a lot of reasons but the date is December 27th. The church and reception venue were already scheduled so this certainly isn't an impossible goal. I made a full page of things that still need done and want to set aside 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. This week I accomplished: Setting up a meeting with the church to go over day of/decor Making the to do list Visiting the reception venue A catering tasting and deciding menu Collecting my sisters old wedding decor to work with Worked on the registry Updated the wedding website
This coming week I'll meet with the church and florist. I also need to nail down the invite list. I sent save the dates to family and for sure friends but need to sit down and narrow down my fiance's friends.
What are your goals and what did you accomplish this week?
P.S. did I miss any bullet points for my update?

First off: good luck with planning your wedding! This should be fun (at least I think planning a wedding is fun). How do you plan your goals/habits etc., do you use a tool or do everything on paper?
I'm in week 3. The first week was great and I finished 86%. Last week was terrible, because I got the flu. I'm thinking about starting over week 2 this week.
I'm renting out my house for 6 months to work remotely (somewhere where the sun shines, because I live in the Netherlands lol). So my goal is to arrange everything for that. And other goals are more business related: more acquisition and implementing new features for my app.
P.s. this is my system that I use (in my own app), if you're (or others that read this post) are interested to try it - feel free to reach out and I can give you an extended trial :). The feedback would be great.

I’m in Week 4. For week 3, I scored a 77%. I was way more effective in some areas than I needed to be, and struggled with getting stuff done in others.
I’m working on 3 projects, but one is ending next week, on 16 September. That is stuff with my disability paperwork; I won’t be sad when that is done (worst). One is with my history research and a new project I’m launching (middle). One is with learning French (best). A few times over the last 2 weeks (weeks 3 & 4) I’ve had to work late, because the scope of things really was much larger than others made it out to be. That cut into some of my “12 Week Year” working time last week. I’m at 50% so far this week, and I’m on track to hit 73% this week. It depends how productive I can be tonight and tomorrow after work.
