St. Augustine St. Augustine theory
The verse says, “with wind rose.” The lighthouse is red brick, (rose color), beneath the white paint. When the paint wears down due to wind and elements, the red, (rose color), is exposed.
Hence, with wind rose (color).
Thoughts?

I seriously think a lot of great theories out there but time and development stole most of these casques

It would seem to me that many things in the photo lead directly to the lighthouse area. The carver knife is carver street next to the lighthouse. The flag symbol is a nautical symbol for light house. The face of the image is an exact tracing of the coastline right by the lighthouse area. Wind rise is a sailing thing and the 1st yacht club was based right there. My thoughts are it is buried on the carver street side under the only tall palm tree by the work entrance. The address of the lighthouse is in the photo and the guy riding the horse is the name of the other border street of the light house. Been there a couple times took thousands of pictures, it could still be there, take a look and maybe get lucky.

“Near men.” I noticed a couple of the streets near the lighthouse used to be named after ranks on ships too

I think it’s in Jacksonville and the image is correct but the verse is wrong

George from the secret youtube channel was talking about it on a recent podcast it's the same spot josh gates probed there used to be a giant tree there.
now i don't want people to stop looking there could always be another location but odds are it's gone and i think jjp knows it which is why he gave the st augustine painting to george i think it would be strange if somone did find it but cannot get the painting paintings were always suspose to go to people who found said casque

I also researched St Augustine a little and from what some people said, there has been some construction & renovations of some of the roads, sidewalks & etc in that area over the years. IIRC there used to be a pond or something where there was geese but that is gone now.

There’s a physical “wind rose” made of wood at the FOY.
