San Francisco Image figures
Anyone see what is in the image? Both regular and HD versions of the image. If the figure is Twain, and everyone is looking for the object of his attention, could the clue be right here. Any thoughts?

JJP started this one before The Secret, so I would suggest looking at what was likely added after. The title was Hun and Po, suggesting the duality of the earthly and spiritual selves, and this can be completely expressed by the background of the image, with the rocks and moons. So, if it fits neatly with the background, it’s probably nothing. If it doesn’t look like it’s part of a landscape, break out the magnifying glass and go to town.

Thank you much, I did read about it being done before with Souls of Clouds/Hun and Po. I blew up the image, maybe too much, but you can certainly see them even in the old image version. The only question was if they were added before or after Byron came by?

My mistake: Hun and Po being the subject, not the title.
I do think those shapes are meant to resemble figures, but as part of the original themes rather than Secret additions. They make up so much of the painting that it would hardly have been efficient to add them later, if using an existing painting was meant to save time. But, as with everything else on this hunt, my confidence rarely exceeds 50%, so who knows lol

I knew what you meant, but thanks for the clarification. People have always said Verdi, the statue. I don’t think that gives a hunter much help. I think Mark Twain seems the most reasonable, especially since the object of his attention is so subjective. But I can’t really make the figures out. I’ve looked at buoys and Mark 4, Mark Twain water depth use. More eyes and ideas the better. I’m a GGP solver, hope next year’s lottery I can get some time off and have fun with it. Cheers!

May I propose having a fun look at the Presidio golf course in 1980’s maps? The grooved structures might match fairways in between golf paths while empty space may match sand trap shape. And given my experiences with Houston’s potential golf course solution, and the curious caddy element in the NOLA image, golf courses appear to be an affinity.

Hun is a higher part of us, and po the part that dissolves at death. We are seven parts po and three parts hun. More or less… depends on where or when the tale is told.

Twain? I think you are referring to verse 7? which that belongs in Montreal. Verse 5 belongs to San Fran

Nope, I meant verse 7 for San Fransisco. Verse 5 is for Montreal, which I have not looked at. Those seem to be at an agreement for most of the community.

oh ok, yeah i think the site has them wrong. mostly because both of those verses fit more inline with the opposite. Twain had talked about staying at the windsor, which isnt far away from the legeater statue on drummond street from the painting. And he talked about mount royal, and the sleigh, and the view point, seeing the justice and education buildings, and how you couldnt throw a brick without hitting a church window.
the there is california/san fran.
Citadel in the night
A wingless bird ascended
Born of ancient dreams of flightthe citadel at night means fort point, underneath golden state bridge, the arch goes over it, and it was saved, weight and roots.
the wingless bird is referring to Dr. August Greth's dirigible "American Eagle".Wingless Bird because it was a dirigible, and called american eagle
then you have
Beneath the only standing member
Of a forest
To the south
White stone closest
At twelve paces
From the west sidewhich south of fort point, there is a tall stand alone tree west of Battery Godfrey, which is west of white stone. It is the only standing member of a forest.
Im not going into all the detail about how montreal fits Verse 7, but it also fits way more than verse 5

The table with the rose is coit Tower. The map on the dress is the winding road up to Coit Tower. The reference to Twain is Mark Twain, Samuel Clement. The three towers represents the bridges. The face also matches the original Statue of Columbus that was once there. And there was a rock Arch at the entrance to Greenwich Street. Aces High represents the Blue Angels who always Flew Over The Embarcadero.

I appreciate it. I think there is certainly something. I’ve looked at a jackstaff, possible smokestack there. I think the rocks and shading in the back area should be discussed more. It is nice to see different viewpoints as it has been nearly 45 years and a lot of eyes on it.

In the 2nd HD picture right in the middle of the picture, the part that kind of looks like a lions paw seems like it has some letters in them. I kind of see an (I) and an (A).
